Beg the Lord for his grace so that you may be purified by his Love… and by constant penance.

It seems incredible that a man like you — who say you know you’re nothing — should dare to place obstacles in the way of God’s grace.

Yet this is what you’re doing with your false humility, your “objectivity”, your pessimism.

If God gives you the burden, God will give you the strength.

It should be engraved deeply on your soul that God doesn’t need you. His calling is a most loving mercy of his Heart.
